Mandy Halloran

n her role as Director of Public Health and Disability, Mandy is responsible for evaluating, developing, & implementing public health programs in South Carolina to ensure that people with disabilities have equitable access. She partners with a wide range of public health services, supports, & organizations to ensure that healthcare prevention services, assistive technology services, transition and diversion programs are implemented correctly & delivered to individuals in the disability community in a fair and equitable manner.

Mandy graduated from the University of South Carolina. She earned a certification in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction from Upstream, a Center for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and is a current mentee of the founders of the school. Mandy is a graduate of the SC Diversity Leaders Institute from the Riley Institute at Furman University & a founding member of non-profit SC Women in Leadership; she serves on the Advisory Board for the SC Communities of Care, office of Suicide Prevention as well as the SC Department of Mental Health 988 Advisory Board. Mandy is certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid by the National Council of Mental Wellbeing and is a Certified Peer Support Specialist. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Action Council for Cross Cultural Mental Health & Human Services.
