Disability Health Equity Coordiater
McKenzie Watson is a disability health equity coordinator with ABLE SC in their Columbia office. ABLE SC is a disability-led nonprofit, transforming systems, communities, and individuals.
With over 10 years of corporate, political, and grassroots advocacy experience, McKenzie works with organizations and individuals to educate and help increase health equity for people with disabilities in the state of SC.
McKenzie spearheaded and coordinated the Disability Vaccine Access efforts for the disabled Black, Indigenous, and other people of color for Able SC. She organized barrier-free Covid-19 and flu vaccine clinics throughout South Carolina. Through her efforts the CDC and the Biden Administration recognized ABLE SC for their stellar commitment and work in assisting those with disabilities to secure their shot.
